The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun
This was one of my favorite Elin Hilderbrand books. It was a really great read with the varying characters and how their relationships changed and developed. I recommend it!
Good follow-up to True Believer. It was a slow start, so I didn't think it was as good as the first book, but it did pick up at the end and get much better.
I read this because a friend did for her book club and said it was good. I really liked it and enjoyed the different characters and their individual plot lines. I did have a bit of trouble remembering who was who in the beginning, but then felt like I knew them all.
This was a great book about friendship. It followed the friendship of two girls who met at 14 and spanned the next three decades. A good read that kept my attention and had characters that were well developed.
This was a really good read. The story line was good, and especially interesting since it was based very heavily on fact. Anyone in Southwest Michigan will appreciate all the references to our towns -- how fun that it was based in my hometown and current town!
I could not put this book down once I started it. It was really, really good. As the description would lead you to believe, there are times when it is really sad, but still good. Very well written.
This was a free Kindle book, so I figured I had nothing to lose. It was okay. It started slow, but finished better. The plot and the character development had a hard time pulling me in throught the first half, but it did pick up by the end and the characters were better developed.
I really enjoyed this book, partially because it is so different from other books. I think it was well researched and -- often sady -- accurately portrays the traveling circuses of the depression era. I loved the story line of the narrator, and the way the character's story was told. And I'd love to meet an elephant up close and personal now. :)
Good book. Typical Janet Evanovich book, in that it was light, funny, and a mystery. I liked the NASCAR angle to it since I'm a fan, and I also liked the main character. Good no brainer read.
